Sadly I am restricted to a small area of California. Or else I'd check it out.

I would love to go to FCN, but with lots of school and little money it would be just to hard.
I strongly suggest that you go anyway, though; maybe just for the day to test the waters. Even if nobody you know is going, you're almost guaranteed to make some new friends. I'd actually be insanely jealous if you did go tomorrow. Two of the best comedians in the fandom are performing (2 and Kage) and then there is the dance at night (The FCN dances, I've heard, are great).
So you may be nervous, I was too at Howloween, but go anyway! You'll have fun and no one will bite (If you're careful).

I went! ^-^
They we're funny, but not my type of humor. The fursuits scared the hell outa me like I expected, though I did manage to overcome my fear and hug one. Was unable to make any friends, I met people though. Had a huge headache and I forgot to bring asprin- and my tail broke.
Overall I had a rather miserable time, was a huge dissapointment. Yet I'm gonna try it again tomorrow.

^-^ Hey guys, quick update!
...but on the THIRD day, I had a fantastic time! It really made up for the other two, I even hugged a fursuit and managed to get some comissions for art!
