Just to add a little bit of pretentious flair to the games section.... Write some poetry about yourself and put it here. I'll start with a horrendously emo piece that describes one aspect of my life perfectly....
Karasu's Song
This is my life,
Slipped away,
Blown and billowed on a windy day:
All in all the promises women make shall soon be broken,
All in all I'm lucky if they leave behind a token.
This is my love,
Torn from me,
Turning, tossing on a stormy sea:
All in all my hopes are sure to be mistaken,
All in all I'm lucky if I'm not sad and forsaken.
This is my heart,
Bleeding red,
Bruised and battered on a dirty bed:
All in all my life was barely worth a token,
Ah, I wonder why my heart was made just to be broken... _________________ Warning: The preceding post may have contained mature content and language unsuitable for younger readers.
Right now my life can be summed up in quite a few Simpsons skits...observe
"Urge to kill....rising..."
"GAH! HOMER MAD! HOMER SMASH! TAKE RAGE OUT ON WORLD!"
"No TV & No beer make homer something something"
"Go crazy?"
"DON'T MIND IF I DO!!!!"
(replace with MY needs & you get "No privacy & No sex with Matt (Tecoon) make Sara go crazy"...I'm currently living with friends & sleeping on their couch. yay)
"OK...if I stop here I still have SOME dignity.....AHAHAHAHAHAA!!!" _________________ I'm a white thylacine with turqoise stripes, eyes, & hair.
To sum up my life in a few verses, I'd have to take some from Alan Jackson's song Where were you (I wonder if theres any relation to General "Stonewall Jackson??")
"Did you shout out in anger
In fear for your neighbor
Or did you just sit down and cry
Did you weep for the children
Who lost their dear loved ones
And pray for the ones who don't know
Did you rejoice for the people who walked from the rubble
And sob for the ones left below"
And on another note, When I get involved in a war, The song Gunpowder and Lead comes to mind
"I'm goin' home, gonna load my shotgun
Wait by the door and light a cigarette
If he wants a fight well now he's got one
And he ain't seen me crazy yet"
