I've never bought a plushie. They've all come to me. I've had on bear for all 20 years of my life in this filthy reality (see? there IS a reason I wear gloves all the time). And my other plushies get given to me by friends or even random homeless people. Ech one has a special significance that would be cheapened by cuddly panda's obtained through selfish commercialism.
The fact that I'm broke has nothing to do with it...

I've always collected Beanie Babies (there's five of those huge utility Tupperware boxes of them in my basement), but I have about five that live in my room with me. My grandmother gave me one, and I've had it since I was born-a puppy named Buffy-and my friend gave me a fox named Todd, then there's three bbs. Erin the Bear, Lizzie the lizard, and Flip the cat. Flips my favorite of the three. I think a rugged, stained plushie is a lot more attractive than a good-as-new one with all the tags still on. I've also got this one fox plushie that sleeps in my bed all the time now. I used to have two, but the other one now lives on my shelf since I don't want him in my bed now. Awkward.

I've got 3 young half-siblings, all under 10, so they got all of my plushies. I think I have one left that I've had since I was 5, but I think it's collecting dust in a closet somewhere. Shame, too. I loved that bear.
