Jumanji : awesome movie + the kid gets turned into an anthro monkey!

Chronicles of Narnia, but that's based off of books. I almost got real exited when I first saw the beavers but was dismayed when they were indeed beavers and not otters... still v cool tho, those wolves too..

OMG and His Dark Materials Trilogy should be out soon (looks up) in exactly a month!! My favorite book series, PLEASE don't let it screw up

& Of course there's a plethora of cartoons...

Follows the book fairly well but starts and end on different foot, but it works in perfectly for a movie.

Best of all, the Deamons. OMG OMG OMG! SOO well DONE! and the polar bears. wow.

watching this was like ecstasy. (not that's I've tried.) 3 thumbs up!

Surprised  Razz Razz  Razz  Razz  Exclamation

The His Dark Materials daemons are not furry ;;  That upsets me.

There's actually a community that believes that daemons are real.  Although obviously not in the sense that they are in TGC x3  They're basically imaginary friends, but for grown-ups.  ;3  If you're interested, I suggest you check this out.

And!!  Alvin and the Chipmunks!  DUHHH <3

AHHHH.

I saw Alvin & The Chipmunks.

AHHHHHHHH.  <3 <3 <3

It was so freaking adorable...I loved it!  You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll whimper in actual physical pain from all the intense cuteness...it actually reminded me quite a bit of the live action Garfield movie that came out awhile back.
The music is freaking AWESOME as well.  You'll dance in the theater.

Sara, I don't care what Tec says, drag him to see it Razz  You absolutely HAVE TO.

We just now rented & watched "Ratatouille" ...VERY good movie! Funny, cute, and scores one for the rats!
(Plus the main rat, remy, prefers to walk upright while his family does not Wink)

Ok I HAVE to add 2 furry themed movies here that Tecoon & Just saw yesterday

HORTON HEARS A WHO!- Absolutely wonderful! I loved the story as a kid & this has humor for everyone kid or adult Smile we were both laughing constantly. A must see!

BEE MOVIE- We enjoyed this one WAY more than we suspected. Why? It is utterly hillarious!!! Some scenes had us nearly in tears. Loads of suggestive humor (some surprising) and all in all just a great movie Smile Although if you know anything about bees you may have to overlook a lot. lol (also the main female character thinks the same I do about our fellow creatures ^_^)

So I saw the new Narnia movie yesterday, and I must say I'm disappointed. Other than Trufflehunter (a badger) there are hardly any animals in it at all. Even Aslan only has, like, two lines and appears only for the very end of the movie. It also strays from the book a lot too, especially when compared to the first one.

As a movie though, it's alright. Not as good as the first Narnia, but still worth watching. If you want to go see it in theaters, go ahead (battle scenes are always more epic on the big screen), but if the furry aspect is the only thing swaying your decision, you should probably wait for it to come out on DVD.

Really? Aaawww! The ads for it made it look very furry themed =/ (Griffons, Aslan, the mouse warrior etc) I still may rent it though
(I'm always wary of religion inspired movies but Narnia isn't so bad) It almost sounds like differnt people worked on it this time. Hmmm...
Anyway thanks for the Notice Burn!!!

Really now Burn?  Thanks for the warning, and info!  >.> Wasn't gonna watch it anyway cause I (hated) disliked the book series.  Ya I read them!  Bunch of sissies, the whole lot of 'em.

Religion inspired movies aren't really my thing, just seems like a cheep attempt to make the book/movie feel "deep" in meaning.  (Looking at you, The Sight and Fell, and the Narnia books)  Horton hears a who was super fun, however..

I have seen all that has been spoken of and more. If it is furry unless it is something to much for kids I am there. Horton hears a who was better then I expected. Alvin & the Chipmunks I had only one disappointment with and that was from the acting for Dave. He seemed far to much like he just got out form an acting gig for Sesame Street. The Dave from the old cartoons and animated movies was much better. More real! then this Dave. Other then that I thought it was good. My fav was Simon. I just liked him more.

Sarafina "Katie, the REO Speedwagon song, the bunny with cookies" ??? Some how I feel I should know but what was that from?

On to Narnia: I did see it and thought it was very good. More animals then Burn may say but yes, fewer then the first. And with reason. They where in the (movie story) to be wiped out. At lest thought by the invaders that had thought to have done so. The Badger was grate! The mouse (a little big for a mouse) Was cool. "A mouse!" "People have no imagination." lol.
Any way, Yes, for those that did not know, there was! much religious meaning behind the stories. And Yes, even though I am not into religion in general I did sense a religious presents to it. More so then the first and mostly when The youngest Lousy had met up with Aslan at the end of this one. Pleas excuse my use of terms to anyone that may feel offended but that seen seem to "reek!" so strong of religion that it hit me like a skunk spray strait to the face. It was something I could not ignore. "What was the meaning of this? !!!"
Aslan could not help out until Lousy or someone had enough faith in him to go get him? And he knew of the tragedy going on and did nothing till she showed up to meet with him? !!! ("So Aslan, if I came sooner you may have been able to save all those lives lost?" "We will never know Lousy it is a thing of the past." "OK Aslan.")  woop de do.   Rolling Eyes   See the movie, you will see what I mean.

O yes, Not furry but I did see Iron Man. That was so cool! And funny! "Flight test" "lest see if we can achieve lift on 10% power." "3, 2, 1" Well, let's say he seen the roof then floor in about a heart beet. It should have broke his neck. I was laughing so hard mostly thou the testing faze. They did that part well.  Laughing

Got to go. I will return later.

Well, yeah, I guess there are a few more animals in Narnia than I implied, but I went into it expecting them to be more upfront. Throughout the movie they are just kind of, I dunno, there. I didn't really see any real personality or character development in them. Not like in the Beavers from the first movie. Reepicheep the mouse was really just there for comic relief, Trufflehunter really didn't do or say anything, and as I said, Aslan is barely even in the movie.

Well actually, if you consider centaurs furry, then you wouldn't be too disappointed with the movie.

And, I have to agree with G-Fox, the religious overtones in the movie were pretty strong, but I was able to mostly ignore it, at least to a point were it didn't imped on the story too much.

Also, yes, Ironman was great. It's probably the best superhero movie that has come out recently. When the trailers first came out I thought it was going to be really cheesy, but I was wrong. It was good!

Also also, Sara was talking about things from Horton Hears a Who. Katie was the fluffy thing (In my world, everyone is a pony, and they eat rainbows, and poop butterflies!), the REO Speedwagon song was the last song were everyone was singing, and the bunny wit cookies is the other Vlad, Horton mentions him earlier while talking about the vulture Vlad. All win :3

I guess I was a little disappointed with the movie Transformers in the same way that you was disappointed
with the latest  Narnia. Not as much with them that I thought there should be.

O Now that you mention it I do remember a little bit about the bunny named Vlad at the end of the Horton movie. I thought most strange was when Katie floated away. ??? That was quite odd but funny.

I am the first to report on this one. I have just seen it yesterday.
It is a furry film for sure just like Over The Hedge and others. No people in this one.
To me it is a must see. It is not the best out there but a good film just the same.
I learned something the tiger in it is a female. I did not know. The mane enemy is a leopard.
The way Po the panda won the fight (oops I spoiled it, Well that part in it was a given anyway) was the way I thought he would. And how he was able to become master above the other five. He is one big punching bag. He can take punishment that the others could not. No matter what he took he always got back up. Plus in time he did learn Kung Fu as well. I recommend it to anyone that likes these CGI furry films that have been coming out in force as of late. Chalk up a another furry movie. Smile

Tecoon & I also saw Kung Fu Panda
We were both VERY impressed!!!!!

*possible spoilers*
This has got to be one of (if not THE) best furry films yet! The characters had a well balanced look (not too human and they could move like the creatures they were etc.), the animation, story, and even the way some scenes were shot (like Tai Lung getting out of prison) were all very impressive!
(at a scene where it showed Tai Lung & Tigress as little kids....I almost cried they were SO F*cking CUTE!!!)

I was a bit surprised that Jackie Chang's char, Monkey, did not have more dialog. I like JC!! He rules.
It was also refreshing that they stuck to asian animals givin the theme instead of just throwing in whatever they wanted...yes the gaurds were sumatrian rhinos Smile (though most the towns people were pigs, ducks, & rabbits. It still worked) And just in case anyone is curious...Shifu was a red panda Smile sweeet!

Anyway, brilliant movie! Tecoon wants us to get it on blu ray Wink
