Personally, I've combined a LOT of religons to get my beliefs straight. I'm mostly Christian. Then there's the spiritualism...a lot of that...a tiny bit of Hinduism...

I think the article has some truth. As a furry, most people will pay particular attention to anything that revolves around animals and nature, while non-furs will give it no more notice than any other religion. From the way I see things, that is why there is a large number of furs attracted to certain beliefs such as animal totemism or more dharmatic religions. I don't think it has much of anything to do with any special "framework" that furries have though.
Personally I'm not a member of any orginized religious group, although I tend to lean more toward the native american way of thinking when it comes to my spiritual beliefs.
