This might be a random question, but it is one I have allways wondered.
How did you think up your name?
Was it just a random thought? Did you see another with the name. Could it have been given to you and stayed!? I have NO idea!
You see... I am.. -Really- bad at making up names, I dont know why, but I just cant. It is, something in my personal moral values that will not allow me.
So if everyone would tell how their name came to be, I would be very thankfull.

My name kinda came out of lazyness.....my mundane/birth name is Sara & Ever since I was little I gave myself the "fancy" name Sarafina....so when I created a fursona to represent myself....I gave her my fave name for myself Smile

That! Is something I have noticed, when ever I am very very hyper I begin to sing in a tone as I talk! Very, rapidly!
Sarafina, your CRAZY idea of thinking up names is beasicly crazy, COULD IT BE SO crazy that it accualy worked? For you do have a good name...
But your methos, Picking a name that sounds good? IT is extreamly reveloutionary!
Is there a way to pick and choose a name without accualy picking and choosing a name? As you two have done?

Ginny is an ugly name, I know. I picked it for a couple of reasons-partly because I'm minorly obsessed with the Harry Potter series, and Ginny Weasley is actually very similar to me. The other, more prominent reason is because there was a horse at my barn named Gin Time, and she was oddly identical to me. Everyone laughed cause she would always whinny and stuff RIGHT as I started speaking, and we tripped constantly in the same spots, and the one ((and only)) time I ever rode her, we matched each other perfectly. I love my Tilly, but Gin and I were really a great match. Unfortunately, she's gone now...*sobs* I miss her. But whatever. Cathy never would've let me ride her more than the one time, anyway. ><
Soooo...yeah. I actually rather like my birth name. I've told a few furs that I feel close to, and they all say I should just drop Ginny and use my real name all the time...but nah...too paranoid of stalkers ^^;

I just took some letters out of my username for most places, TheColdOne. I just removed the h, l, d, and e. I just thought it sounded, like a name, so I used it.

Ginny is not a bad name, you shouldent think that it is. It is a name that I can remember, and I only can recall names and things that have meaning. Just to say, whenever I hear the name Ginny I think Ginger, weird like that.

Tecoon, I can remember your name due to the word tycoon. (Also Monsoon, harpoon. and typhoon) Your name is differnt to me, I never seen a name like that- and that is why I your name! Good method too, just take out letters? hmmm.. How did I end up with Medrico?! Distruzio Venicci.

Mythosloki. Never seen that before...
But I have seen Mytho, and I have seen Loki - (Many times, I once had a friend who's name wa...) Good combo!
What Questions me is that how can you name be Camio if it is Mythosloki?

Seems to me that everyone's name has some sort of meaning to them. Created in their own way to be who they are! You, and you, and you and you and you! You are you! The name, it is you in a way.
That is why I am parionoid about a name! It.. Means too much for me. To pick falsly could mean great disfourtion behalf of myself! Why cant I do this, find a name that has a meaning? I just cant...

-Ginny, good point about not posting your name. It could get lost in this crowd of users, who knows what sick fool could be waiting to stalk you down at the slightest mention of your name!! Now, you did not hear this from me, but I got some suspision on that Guest over there...

I do like pet mice, though. I used to have a pair of gerbils. They were Nazi gerbils. One of them apparently mistook me once, though, and bit me. I was very upset. I didn't hurt him, though. They lived for like five years, which is like a hundred in gerbil years, and then they died. I cried.

...and now I'm done being depressing.

But we all must live, one way or another. I can not hold a grudge on the natural order of life, no one can. I am glad your Gerbils lived so long, as I am glad you did not hurt them. This was a hard topic for me to respond to. If you posted just the top or just the bottem I would of had a much more easy time, but the combo took me off guard.
How can you depress yourself in such a way? Would you be happier if they died at 2 or 3 years old? Strange things I think of now, it is weird.

The current name i use on the forums is my Real life name. Once cus i like it and two cus of its meaning in Greek and Latin doe its writen abit diferent.

My name. I gave it some thought. G-Fox it is short for his full name Glen Fox Hawkins. Glen for like a wooded glen. I wonted the name to sound sort of like a new speeches of fox. A Glenfox. Hawkins I just liked that for a last name it to me represents free in flight. You know the hole hawk thing. Hawks are cool. LOL

Fox Hawkins.. Yes hawks are cool, but that dosent mean you add it to your name! (But I do think Glen Fox Hawkins is a great name!) Ninjas and pirates are cool, why dident you add them to your name?

Making up RP names? oh thats easy for me some days... I have an overly creative mind so its hardly difficult to slap something random together and glue it together as a name, personality, body type, job... mostly I jsut watch the people around me and develope chars to keep track of them all... and to kill off some time since I have plenty to spare.

But on the topic of names- I was asking how you got your name! Not as much making up many random names. (What would one do with all those names?!) RPing.. Even more of a mystery to me... I dont think I will ever understand how to play the role of me.. However, that does not really matter right now!
I am trying to figure out how everyone got their name, and why they chose that one out all other names!

Thats rather easy Med, for me... Jessie is the name of the char that I mostly use... on many different places... got it from making up names for a comic strip that I was thinking of creating (this is what I do with all those names by the way) and I have always been a fan of using Haven as a last name... it would fit any time piriod and its not like anyone would care anyways... so as I thought up a 'purma' name if you will I used Jessie (the char that was developed in my image) and Haven to create the demon you see before you....

But at the same time it makes even more questions!
How could there me more "yous"? Are you saying you can jump from one body to a differnt one, and then BE what you possessed?! Do demons do that? Or is it more of that shapeshifting sort of stuff?

Dident your clan give you your name? You developed in your own image... Isent that the way everyone developes? Is it even possible to develop any other way!?
