Im a Demonic winged Arctic Fox so, my fur is white, I have Crimson\or Red-Violet cat like eyes, Dark Leathery Obsidian Wings, My claws are black and are retractable (yes like a cats), 4' 7'' yes im short but "it makes me cuter?", I usaly wear a Spiked Necklas, Grey, black, red or teal tee-shirt and a black vest over that, left arm has a spiked bracelet, two spiked belts I don't know why two but whatever, Baggy black cargo like shorts that go to the shins they have chains on them so i guess you can call them gothic if you really wanted to, and last but not least black steel toed boots.

Yes I know Black black black but i like it and it has good contrast with white fur so...... ya, I have tons more details but thats enough for general info um thankys and.... i so need to finish drawing my character... >^.^<

Sorry Medic but still no thats not 100% darkness just like there isn't 100% light its because any little thing could make it impure and thats like anything and yes even if you did go down into a cave and sealed the entrance off it still wouldn't be complete darkness...... I wish their was but there isn't and finaly yes for some elemental powers there are ways around but NOT all of them some just cant be avoided

Hmmm.. When your scared, Fear is the first emotion to say to you "RUN AWAY!", if you did that than *that* would be instinct. If you had some self controll and used Imformation you gained over your life to handle the emotion in a differnt way, than thats reason. To sum it up, I think Instinct is your auto-reaction to an emotion of some sort.

No, emotions are different than both. An emotion is a REACTION to the way you react to an instinct or your common sense; it's a consequence of a consequence, if you will. And you do need thought to both hate AND love, because if you don't think then you have no reason to hate or love someone. Emotion is a completely different thing than instinct or common sense. Emotions only come after one or both of them. It's an individual concept. And fear is an emotion, true, but if your instinct tells you to run away and you feel fear, they probably occur within an instant of each other, but common sense is involved in that too because you're making a conscious decision on how to deal with the problem at hand.

You are suppost to dislike pain, so you will avoide it- You body wants you to avoide pain because pain is telling you that something is damaging your chance to live!

Your emotions are like the nerves on your paw, it is more of a data collecter. But the problem is your body cant speak, so instead of "Hey, your arm is broken, might want to not use it much" it just sends you PAIN! I agree, yeah YOU NEED EMOTIONS, I've said that from the start. Every living thing has instincts and thus emotion. And your mind is not 'rewarding' you with happiness or joy or whatever, your mind is simply REACTING to what's going on around you with according emotion. The mind is not a living entity seperate from yourself ((scientifically speaking, that is. Dante and I believe something that may slightly contridict that, but whatever)), it is simply a bunch of brain tissue that releases different things according to what's going on in front of you. For instance; if something suddenly sets your nerves off, it registers in your conscious brain as the emotion 'fear', and tells your mind to release adrenaline, a chemical which basically puts everything in your body on overload so you can run faster, pull harder, whatever you need to do to get away from whatever is 'scaring' you. What it's TECHNICALLY doing is making your heart beat faster, your lungs contract quicker so you can take in more oxygen, and sending all your nerves into hyperdrive. On the other hand, if the person you like suddenly looks down and kisses you right on the lips, your brain reacts by sending a chemical known as endorphins ((sp?)) into your blood. This causes a similar reaction as adrenaline, but I don't know the details. It makes you happy, basically. But it isn't as though your mind has a mind of it's own; it's not going 'okay, she won, so I'll let her feel the emotion 'happy'' or anything. It's a bunch of chemicals and yucky bloody flesh.

I think that what might be going on here is BS

First off, age doesn't make you smarter (most older people I met were unaware idiots)
Second, racism only excists in the hands on those that give the word meaning by using the word over and over, those are the real racists. Although the word tends to get abused often, you can hit someone your own color but if you hit someone with another color they paste racism to it so that means they are the real racists (the ones calling someone else that way eventhough they diserved to be punished and the cause is not always color related as some make it seem to abuse the word to their own liking)
Thirdly and last I believe that the only one who claims to be more then just an idiot is capable of putting an end to such fights without expecting someone else to make the first step.

So I hope for anyone's sake that this wasn't a fight to begin with because I can see some negative vibes wich might be meant as flame towards one another and wich is NOT necessary.

First of all, I wanna apologize real quick because it's sort of my fault on how badly this got outta hand. I shouldn't have let myself be sucked into such a random, dumb arguement. I started something ridiculous, and I'm taking responsiblity for it. I apologize to you all.

I've also got a few slight points to make here.

We could all do with giving each other a lot more respect. Hey, maybe some of us can't and never will be able to get along. That doesn't mean we gotta flame each other around every turn, and that's almost where we are! So yeah, we all wanted more users to the board, but now everyone's fighting, including myself! I'm almost ashamed to bring my mate here now...I don't think I will, actually, because I don't want him to have to be forced to take sides like the rest of us are.

Second of all, IT TAKES MORE THAN FIVE MINUTES OF READING A PAGE WORTH OF POST TO REPLY. Seriously, people. Besides, the majority of us are old enough to hold our own in a truly intelligent discussion-this is getting to be really immature. I'm sick of people having a go at one another every four seconds. I'm sure I'm not the only one.

This was the first place I ever joined that was furry, and the only one I've really stayed at. I don't want that ruined, please.

The fact that you get offended when I say your might not be a furry does not suprise me but it doesn't prove a thing. Everyone gets mad at anything these days. The problem is that everyone constantly thinks about themselves, they expect others should do for them what they want them to do.. want others to be like they want them to me.. ME ME ME.. thats what the world is based on.

But you fail to see that furry is not an opinion and there is only one translation. It is not my problem you get mad when instead you should prove to be what I don't expect you to be through a descent explenation of what you believe furry to be (since 80% of the fandom are fake).

But this is not the matter at hand. I couldn't care less what your reason might be why you claim to be a furry (and I hope its not for the dating purpose) wich might infact be the truth.

But the problem wich annoys me is the fact that no one seems to care about how others feel, all they care about is themselves and when they get offended, like the world should somehow be centered upon them.

Not to mention the fact that replies are usualy composed with the purpose of winning a so called verbal battle, putting the ball in others net, making it seem that they are wrong and you are right... This isn't about winning or losing but many fail to see that..

Sorry if I hurt your feelings but it is a fact that the mayority claims to be a furry, would walk over bodies to prove it wich is where they prove not to be a furry. Because furries don't fight to be called furries, they get badgered because they are.. (and ignored if they are the real deal).

Again sorry if I hurt your feelings, for all I know you might actualy be a real furry when you claim to be (wich everyone does so you must understand).
But I'm realy sensitive when some make it seem like what others have to say does not matter. My reply is fully based on what the situation seemed to be when I read the last couple of posts wich did indeed look very confusing.

As for me, I only did what I think was right. And from what I'm reading I was clearly right when I assumed respect was not something easily given on this board.
