Anime?Hey! Decided to start up yet another silly headed Sara type converstionTecoon & I love anime but only certian ones. Anyone else here have some anime that they enjoy? My opinions: Neno Genises Evangelion - Confusing for the most part and kind of boring Hellsing - Never seen, but it looks alright Gungrave - maybe... but it looks kind of boring. Trigun - Awesome, no complaints (got to love Vash) InuYasha - Alright, but not THAT good Fruits Basket - ... Comatari High - ... |

You gotta really watch Gungrave to really get into it..and Noen G was a little puzzling at times but that was because what we saw was the dumbed down MA 15+ verson, the origanl jap one is R 18+ with some eps getting too X ratings....as for Hellsing you gots to love Alucard man...freaking rocks he does | ||

i assume since it's playing on adult swim it isn't quite "new", only to that channel. I'm sure there's a DVD of it somewhere, and of course the japanese version (though I'm not one of those guys who'll get one with subtitles, that's just lame) | ||

Is this a series only thing or movies too?
Series-wise I think some good ones are: Tenchi Muyo Witch Hunter Robin Black Cat Bleach (Although I'm starting to lose faith in it. They should finish the series already!) Outlaw Star Great Teacher Onizuka I'll leave the obvious must-see's alone for now. Shows to avoid are Inuyasha, for never fu*king ending, and Naruto. Especially Naruto. If an anime does more than 10 episodes in a row of flashback, it should have the decency to just crawl into a corner and die... As for movies, I've seen some pretty obscure stuff. You should know a few of the cult classics. Ninja Scroll Megazone 21 Urotsakidoji I-IV (It's not just about tentacle rape. Watch it properly, there's an awesome storyline and great action scenes. ¬¬I mean fighting moron, not the tentacles). Ghost in the Shell Ghost in the Shell: Innocence Final Fantasy :Advent Children (And the special short piece Last Order) Wicked City Cowboy BeBop the movie Tokyo Revelation Wow.... So many... If anyone wants free series in that ever so small RM format, give http://www.realitylapse.com a try. They should have Outlaw Star, Black Cat and Bleach at the very least - and a few shows you might enjoy if you give them a chance. I'm off to watch Black Cat again ^^ And not just because half of my Fursona's name is in the title. |

Oh hell, I enjoy basicly all anime (as long as they are better art then I can create <still to this day, love being around peoplewhom are better then me, pushes me to be better then them> and/or have a greate story line to them... this is about 87% of all anime I have seen so far) doesnt matter whom the target is most of them are enjoyable to me, if not helping my artwrk or wrighting then the typical pleasure of watching something/relaxing. | ||

Fruits Basket and Inuyasha are incredible. Though Inuyasha-anime got a little...how shall I say this...long-winded. I own all the Furuba books except 7, 10, and...umm...11. But I've read them all. Several times. And I have the boxed set...=)
Tohru is DEFFY gonna end up with Kyo. Or I'll sneak up on Takaya-san with a serrated knife. :K Lol. Just kidding. Or am I...? |

Yeah, you definately remind me of Kagura *laughs* And that's a good thing; she's one of my favorite characters. I think she'll back down to Tohru, especially if you've read the later books. I won't ruin it for you if you haven't. Koga's adorable...I always have loved him; he needs his own series. Poor hopeless romantic. And Sesshomaru's cool too...I wrote a fanfic about him once...in like seventh grade. So it sucks. But yeah. If you want to read it, I'll email it to you...

Okay.. I recently fell in to the power of Youtube since I am broke and fell... not in love necessarily, but Full Metal Alchemist is making me go out and buy the video games so it was that much... Naruto I've watched all 210 episodes (most of them completely) and I was just wondering if anyone else feels let down since from around the early 100s nothing happens at all... they go on missions and come back... never really advancing the plot... it made me angry... and I watch Naruto for kyobi, Shino, Kiba, Hinata, and Negi... and none of the stories continue quite correctly. Does anyone else feel this way... | ||

What can we say about Medic? -Glad you asked/did not ask! Naruto, have not seen 210 episodes! Havent seen over 3 of them, and dont plan to. Inu Yashi, less than 6. (I hate overpowered central figures that cant die!) Full Metal Alchemist- To this, I like. Dislike the whole super evil whatever things, but the main kid and his brother are great! (The younger bro in amour is my favorite!) Pita Ten is watched 10-13 episodes. <---(Found it looking up hamster dance...) FLCL (Fooly Cooly) This 6 part show was great! #5, Brittle Bullet was my favorite! I like alot of movies from the maker of Spirited Away. Allmost forgot, I loved Digimon when I was really young- only the first series thow. As you can see, I am not a super anime lover, it all depends on how good the movie/show is. |

ALPHONSE IS MY FAVORITE! He's so much cooler than his big brother, to me he is.
I think he has such a great, well made figure in the series- more so than Ed! Spirited Away was a incredible movie, I must agree. Never seen anything like it in my life... Never seen anything like the one with the Flying Pig either! Basicly everything he made I never seen before! |
